To help ensure every guest has a smooth, enjoyable, and safe experience at SandClock Studio, please take a moment to review our booking policies and studio guidelines.
SandClock Studio is a self-shoot studio. Our service is fully self-photography. Guests will take their own photos using our professional setup with a clicker/remote. Please note that we do not provide on-site photographers.
For everyoneβs safety, any children, minors, or pets in the studio must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Headcount is counted by the number of people entering the studio, regardless of who will be photographed.
Before each session, we provide a short orientation and clear in-studio instructions to guide you step-by-step. Our Studio Officers will also be available to assist should you have any questions during your shoot.
General Safety & Conduct Policy
To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone, please treat all studio equipment, props, and backdrops with care. Only our Studio Officers are allowed to adjust cameras, lighting, or other technical equipment, so please request their assistance if needed.
The studio contains professional photography and lighting equipment that must be handled with care to help prevent accidents, injuries, or equipment damage. Clients are expected to follow all safety instructions provided by our staff.
We uphold a professional and respectful environment. Any disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in the session being ended early without refund to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and staff.
Children are welcome but must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times. For their safety, children should not handle equipment, enter restricted areas, or move around the studio unsupervised.
A cleaning fee may be charged for any spills, stains, or if the studio is left in an untidy or excessively messy condition.
Booking Confirmation Policy
Each time slot can accommodate up to 2 groups, on a first-to-settle, first-reserved basis.
Your preferred time slot is reserved only after settling the downpayment. Verbal or written confirmation alone does not reserve the slot.
Please be advised that babies/kids/toddlers are included in the headcount.
To confirm and secure your slot, please send a 50% downpayment within 12 hours* of your reservation.
Without the downpayment:
π Discounted online booking rates will no longer apply (regular rates +β±200).
π The FREE softcopies included in the booking bundle promo will also not be applicable (may still be added for β±100).
π Your booking may be cancelled or your slot released to other clients.
For same-day bookings, the downpayment must be settled at least 2 hours before your session. Otherwise, your booking will be cancelled. Thank you so much for your understanding!
NOTE: The twelve (12)-hour period is for pencil-booking purposes only and does not guarantee your slot. During this period, the slot may still be booked by other clients. In cases where multiple clients reserve the same slot, priority will be given to the client who completes the downpayment first. Pencil-booked sessions not secured with a downpayment within the twelve (12)-hour period may be released or cancelled if the slot is needed for other clients.

Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
I. Standard Client-Initiated Cancellations & Rebooking:
Standard Rescheduling: You may rebook your session for free if you notify us at least 12 hours before your scheduled appointment. If notice is given less than 12 hours before your session, a β±200 rescheduling fee will apply. This is not applicable to bookings made with promos/discounts.
Standard Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your session are eligible for a refund of your downpayment, subject to a β±100 cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session are strictly non-refundable. This is not applicable to bookings made with promos/discounts.
Maximum Rescheduling Limit: A single booking can only be rescheduled a maximum of three (3) times total (including standard and emergency requests). A fourth rescheduling request will not be permitted; the booking will automatically be treated as a final cancellation, and the downpayment will be forfeited.
II. Cancellations Due to Client Negligence & Policy Violations:
SandClock Studio reserves the right to apply the following cancellation and forfeiture policies in cases of client oversight or non-compliance:
Failure to Check or Verify Bookings: Clients are encouraged to carefully review their confirmed booking details and appointment reminders. Missed sessions due to incorrect dates/times or overlooked reminders may be treated as a no-show, and payments may be forfeited.
On-the-Spot Cancellations via Policy Violations: If a client brings prohibited items into the premises (such as loose glitter, glittered clothing, confetti, open flames, or pets without diapers) and refuses to comply with the studioβs safety guidelines, our team reserves the right to deny entry to those items. If the client chooses to cancel the session on the spot due to these restrictions, the booking will be considered cancelled and will no longer qualify for refunds or studio credit.
Unconfirmed Rescheduled Bookings: If a client becomes unresponsive after requesting a reschedule and fails to finalize a new session date within seven (7) days, the booking will be officially cancelled and the downpayment forfeited.
III. Medical Emergencies
SandClock Studio understands that sudden, severe health crises can happen. To maintain operational fairness, the following rules apply to sudden medical disruptions:
No Cash Refunds: Downpayments for medically cancelled sessions cannot be converted into cash refunds.
Emergency Rebooking Provision: If a member of your shooting party experiences a sudden medical emergency or serious illness within the 24-hour non-refundable window, the studio will waive the standard rebooking penalty for the first instance only.
Subsequent Medical Reschedules: If you need to reschedule the exact same session a second or third time due to ongoing medical or personal reasons, the standard β±200 rescheduling fee will apply, and it will still count toward your 3-time maximum rescheduling limit.
Requests due to illness or emergencies will be reviewed reasonably on a case-to-case basis.
Emergency Closures, Severe Weather & Power Disruptions
SandClock Studio follows a No-Cash-Refund Policy for cancellations, interruptions, or closures caused by events outside the reasonable control of the studio and management. These situations include, but are not limited to:
Power Grid Failures: Scheduled or unscheduled rotational power cutoffs, grid load-shedding, and Red/Yellow Alerts issued by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) or local utility distributors.
Weather Disturbances: Typhoons, severe tropical storms, localized heavy flash floods, or official severe weather warnings issued by PAGASA.
Seismic Events: Earthquakes, severe aftershocks, or sudden structural safety evaluations mandated by municipal engineers.
π‘ The SandClock Protection Guarantee: While downpayments cannot be refunded in cash under these emergency circumstances, the studio will protect the full financial value of your payment. Your downpayment will automatically be converted into a Studio Credit. You will be granted a complimentary reschedule to any mutually available date and time slot within sixty (60) days from your original booking date.
Studio-Initiated Adjustments & Operational Protections
SandClock Studio values your time and strives to honor every confirmed booking. However, if the studio must adjust your scheduled slot due to internal logistics, technical demands, or unforeseen events, the following rules apply:
Honoring Your Original Slot: If the studio requests a scheduling or lineup adjustment for internal administrative reasons, your original booked time slot will always be honored as the default, regardless of whether you are able to respond to our messages in time.
Free Rescheduling for Technical & Studio Issues: If a session must be moved by the management due to a sudden technical issue, location security concerns, facility maintenance, operational requirements, corporate event commitments, or sudden manpower shortages, your rescheduling will be 100% free of charge to any future date and time slot that perfectly suits your availability.
Liability & Session Interruption Policy
By completing your booking and downpayment, you explicitly agree to the following protective limits:
Limitations on Additional Expenses: If a session must be delayed, cut short, or cancelled mid-shoot due to a sudden power blackout, grid failure, or severe weather emergency, SandClock Studioβs liability is strictly limited to providing a replacement session or a time extension of equal value at a later date. SandClock Studio will not be responsible for external or personal expenses related to interrupted or cancelled sessions, including but not limited to: HMUA fees, transportation costs, wardrobe rentals, or talent fees.
Emergency Equipment Protection Protocol: In the event of sudden power fluctuations, sags, or brownouts, our Studio Officers reserve the right to immediately power down high-end lighting, cameras, and computing equipment to prevent hardware damage. Any shoot time paused for equipment preservation will be added back to your session once power stabilizes, or moved to your rescheduled date.
Situations Not Considered Emergencies: Personal transportation issues, minor rainfall, or localized traffic congestion do not qualify as Force Majeure events and remain subject to standard studio late/rebooking fees.

Personal Belongings & Missing Items
Kindly keep an eye on your personal belongings. The studio is monitored by CCTV, but we cannot take responsibility for lost or missing items.

We also recommend keeping valuables close and secured during your session.
Food and Drinks Policy
To maintain a clean and safe environment, we DO NOT allow food or drinks inside the studio. This helps protect our equipment and ensures a pleasant space for everyone.

Please note the following restrictions for safety and cleanliness:
No eating inside the studio.
No cake smearing, icing spreading, or cake smashing.
No lighting of birthday candles.
If you need to bring a few food items as props, please check with us first so we can review and confirm if they will be allowed or to see if we already have similar props available.
Non-Shooting Companion
Only those included in the photoshoot headcount will be allowed inside the studio or reception lounge.
For companions who are not part of the shoot, they may kindly wait outside the premises. There are nearby convenience stores and coffee shops where they can stay comfortably while waiting. Thank you for understanding!
If they want to join the session, additional pax can be requested on-site.
Equipment Responsibility
Please handle all studio equipment with care. Any damage caused during your session will be your responsibility as the last user.
Always follow the safety guidelines provided by our staff to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
Do not unplug power cords from electrical outlets, as this may cause malfunctions. Violations may result in penalties or damage charges.
Props Policy
We provide a variety of props for your shoot, including number balloons, faux cakes, shades, hats, headbands, flowers, tiaras, sashes, and chairs. Unlimited usage of studio props is included in your session, but please handle them with care.
Props cannot be taken home. Any prop that is lost, damaged, or returned dirty may incur a replacement or cleaning fee. If you accidentally bring a prop home, please let us know immediately so we can assist.
No nails or pins are allowed on walls or backdrops. Use only putty or gentle tape.
Always request permission and assistance from our Studio Officers before hanging or adjusting props. You will be fully responsible for any damage caused during your session.
You are also welcome to bring your own props to personalize your photo shoot. For safety, cleanliness, and to protect our studio equipment, the following items are not allowed:
π« Lighted candles, open flames, or any flammable items
π« Food and drinks
π« Liquids, glitter (including clothes with glitter), and confetti
π« Sharp objects or anything that may cause harm
π« Heavy or bulky props that could damage the studio
We love fun props like helium balloons, but letβs keep them safe for everyone:
Secure your balloons β Tie them to a weight so they donβt float up to the ceiling or lights.
Mind the equipment β Keep balloons away from cameras, lights, and backdrops.
No popping inside β Sudden pops can damage our gear and startle other clients.
Dispose properly β Please take your balloons (and weights) with you after the shoot.
Thank you for helping us keep the booth safe and fun!
